When I  saw the trailer of Dropping In - The True Story of Don Wimmer, I wanted to believe it. Like Fox Mulder in X-Files. Because this documentary looks like an UFO. I remind you the story : Don Wimmer, who at the unlikely age of 42 (don't laught, I'm also 42!) gives up everything to pursue a long abandoned dream of becoming a professional skateboarder. Many of you have already had the same idea? But as the french say when they speak about the strange soft drink called Canada Dry,"it's the color of alcohol, the taste of alcohol ... but it's not alcohol". "Dropping In" is not a documentary. It's a mockumentary:  a movie filmed as an hyper realistic documentary, similar to the hilarious film from Rob Reiner "Spinal Tap". "I'd be happy to send you a copy of the feature length film on dvd if you let me know where to send it" wrote to me Don Wimmer. Many thanks! I will be happy to watch your exploits with other "old" french skaters. Cheers from Paris!

Je suis tombé sur ce trailer de Spiderman 3 ce matin. A ne pas manquer : la course poursuite en hoverboard [sky stick]. Bientôt dans tous vos skateshops ;-)
