What's that?

  • Best boards of the year elected by the ones riding them!
You are a pro or amateur shaper? Register for the first World Longboard Awards 2006 ( WLA 2006) and introduce to riders all around the world the board you’re the most proud of this year. Four categories: Cruising, Downhill, Slalom, and Pimp my board.

Registration terms

  • One board maximum by category and by shaper. In other words, 4 different boards maximum, but you can enter the contest with only one board. Please register by following those directions, send by mail: - Complete address & phone number (+ web site or weblog link) - 2 pics for each different board, one of the model itself and one of the board with you/in action. - Technical specs for each board submitted (length, width, flex/or not, concave, inner structure…). After being validated, pics and specs of each board are displayed online. Riders can react and post comments. Shapers can answer directly (like on a weblog).

Registration deadline

  • October 31th 2006

Voting process

  • The ballot is electronically processed. It will take place during 15 days starting November 1st. No vote will be valid after midnight on November the 15th 2006 (UTC). One vote only will be accepted by person and by category (4 votes maximum for each of you: 1 cruising board, 1 downhill board, 1 slalom, and one custom).

No Prize Money!

  • Just Ride Spirit... and fun.

Da Cruise [by POLITIClongboardACTIVIST]

CRSG04, originally uploaded by POLITIC longboard ACTIVIST.

According Fabien Baëza [Conception Design & Fabrication - POLITIClongboardACTIVIST] :

"Dimensions : 930 x 211 x 9 mm (épaisseur)

Description du plateau :

".
